How many days between two dates?
Pick a start and end date and the total number of whole calendar days is shown, along with the equivalent in weeks. Enter the dates in either order — the result is the same.
Are both the start and end day counted?
The total is the number of days from one date to the other — e.g. Jan 1 to Jan 31 is 30 days. If you need both endpoints counted (an inclusive span), add one.
Why does the years/months/days breakdown differ from total days ÷ 365?
Months and years have different lengths, and leap years add a day. The calendar breakdown borrows the real length of each month, so it's exact rather than an average.
