Frequently asked questions

How do I count days from today?

Set the start date to today, choose Add, enter the number of days, and read the resulting date and weekday. Choose Subtract to count backward from a date.

What happens at the end of a month?

Adding months or years clamps to the last valid day. January 31 plus one month becomes February 28 (or 29 in a leap year), because February has no 31st.

Do weekends and holidays matter?

No — this tool counts every calendar day. To count only working days between two dates, use the business days calculator instead.
