Which days count as working days?
Monday through Friday within the range. Saturdays and Sundays are counted separately as weekend days and excluded from the working-day total.
Is the end date included?
No — the range is half-open, so the start date is counted and the end date is not. This makes adjacent ranges add up cleanly and matches how nights or transitions are usually counted.
Are public holidays removed?
Not automatically, since holidays vary by country. Subtract any public holidays that fall on a weekday from the working-day total yourself.
